Should there be safeguards for the viewers to prevent them from fraudulent or deceptive advertising.? Also, should multinational media companies be accountable for not scrutinising fully the claims of advertisements.

This is an area the Federal Government needs to regulate and enforce. Unfortunately, they are always playing catchup with information technology advancements and the way people manipulate it.
