Christmas Trees: Real or Fake?

Do you prefer a faux Christmas Tree or is Yuletide not complete without the scent of real pine in your house?
Do you decorate it with lights or do you prefer a pre-lit tree?

I apsoulutly love a real tree and the beautiful scent you can not beat it, but I definitely do not like the mess that comes along with a real tree, we instead have a faux real tree and have a candle or oil burning during the day around Xmas for the beautiful scent, we love to decorate with lights, the fiberoptic trees are beautiful and all but there is nothing that can beat the love and laughter from the kids when we decorate our tree every year.

We do a fake tree inside our house every year. Much easier than real, which leaves a big mess
