I have just got my first dryer (intention to only use when raining and whilst landscaping is being done).
How often do you use your dryer ?
Surely it costs quite a bit to run if you solely use it for drying clothes ?
Does it damage your clothes ???

I’ve had to use mine a fair bit lately and am feeling guilty due to the electricity use and also the damage it could be doing to my clothes

What are your thoughts on it!? How often do you use yours ??

We had a dryer many years ago, we probably last used it 15 years ago. We dry our clothes outside and on wet days we dry them inside. We still have the old dryer that doesn't have a drive belt on it. We didn't find it damaged our clothes but found it created too much moisture in the laundry. Yes, they use a lot of energy and with the extraction fan on as well. We are happy without our dryer in working order. I hope you were able to buy one with a good energy star rating.
