What are your thoughts on the issue of inequality in Australia, and how do you think it impacts our society as a whole? Do you believe that everyone has equal opportunities to succeed, or do you think that some groups are disadvantaged based on factors such as race, gender, or socioeconomic status? What steps do you think we can take as a society to address these inequalities and create a more equitable future for all Australians?

There are social service safety nets in Medicare, social housing and social security payments and rebates as well as community charities to help those in need. It impacts our society by those with less wanting more and being jealous of those with more and that is why the safety nets are there so the basics are provided. Anything else above and beyond this are up to the individual to improve for themselves in a lawful way and if they take the unlawful way then that reflects on them as being dissatisfied and wanting to meet their wants over and above their needs. People do need to lift themselves up and can be successful from very humble beginnings. There is a difference between getting a handout and doing nothing yourself to improve your situation and getting a hand up and then going on to be successful and self-sufficient. It all comes down to a person's attitude and if they feel hard done by then they do nothing for themselves, commit crime and continue to be a burden on society. So, what can we do, put a firecracker up them to take action and help themselves for once.
As a person from a disadvantaged background who lived in a low socio-economic area and whose schools were described as underprivileged, I know success is from an individual's own efforts which includes doing well at that underprivileged school and valuing education.
