Things to do in exmouth

My fiance and I are planning on going to exmouth in WA for our honeymoon in March. We're from Gippsland in Victoria. Does anyone have any tip on what we can do or places to go and see while we are there? EVen places to stay? We don't have a huge budget and my Nan gave us some money for our engagment that I would like to spend on a scenic flight or something similar. Neither of us have ever been and I would love to hear from a local.

CAT17 says: Hi lisa170, congrats on your engament and can I just say you will love love love WA - all along the coast is fantastic - my husand and I did a very slow enjoyable trip last year along the coast of WA from Esperence to Geradlton. Time ran out to go further north and we had to get back to family in Perth, but WOW I don't think we have ever seen a coastline like it and we have been along most coast roads over the years from Cairns down and around. The colour of the Indian Ocean is spectacular and BLUE. All the towns are great, the beautiful unusual country side is something to see. Nothing like the Gippslands (I've been there many many times - beautiful country too). Can't tell you about Exmouth, but I am sure you will have a great experience, I just had to put in a plug for WA! We are from Adelaide and drove across the Nullabor - another fantastic experience. Driving holidays are our favourite way of seeing this magnificent country of ours. Happy holiday to you! Reply
