What do you think on this one , if you like the idea then maybe we can shut down the pricing of the PETROL COMPANIES ....
IF an email was sent to ALL your contacts that had a SPECIFIC DAY to BLACKBAN a SPECIFIC OIL COMPANY such as for example BP and EVERYBODY ADHERED TO the BLACKBAN of that Company on that SPECIFIC DAY then the LOSS of $$ for them would run into the BILLIONS WORLD WIDE and eventually after a few days of this BAN then they WOULD HAVE TO DROP PRICING.
Hey NEVER BEEN TRIED so come on who is with me , if you are then start those emails to your friends and if you are not then keep paying thru the nose for your PETROLIUM PRODUCTS , YOUR CHOICE and MINE

The real problem with Petrol pricing is with the OPEC...they dictate the terms so if they can be controlled than we won't have this problem

The reality is that Petrol prices will rise dramatically over the next 10 years as supply dwindles. A smart government would start massively subsidizing electric cars and associated research/manufacturing so that they are very affordable. This would reduce our reliance on petrol, help to make Australia a world leader in an emerging technology (thus ensuring the governments income after we loose the tax gains of fuel) and at the same time help reduce our carbon footprint as even charging a car using coal powered electricity produces much less carbon than petrol does anyway.

all the government has to do is take the 2nd tax off it and it would drop.
people have come up with alternatives to petrol a few years back and they haven't been seen again and there prototypes have been destroyed.
wars use to be over religion now its over oil fields have a look at iraq and egypt wars they are only worried about the the oil fields and not the people living there.

Money and oil rule the world,it has been the same for years.New energy options would be good, this would create more competition. But all governments have missed the boat as usual!
