Who has been cruising?
We are totaly addicted to the only way to enjoy a great holiday. We have done 6 cruises and can not get enough of them.Unfortunately we have to go to work in between.I can honestly say that the cruise ships of today are more like floating resorts and the customer service is the best that we have come across be it with P&O or the Princess lines.Having said that we have also,in between, taken lots of road trips and planes ones too in Aust and there are so many beautiful places here. But for the ultimate, go cruising.

We recently travelled from Seward, near Anchorage Alaska, to Vancouver, along the Inside Passage. Our cruise with the Holland Line's 'Statendam' was 50% off... and because the Ozbuck was $1.10 at the time, we got another 10% off.
A week's Alaskan cruise... for 40% of the usual cost!!~ When we did the calculation, it was cheaper to travel by cruise-ship for a week than drive that same route, staying in motels and hotels. We are _not_ 'cruise-ship people', but this experience utterly changed our views on this form of travel. Fantastic food, brilliant service, great entertainment and some terrific ports-of-call. This will be the first of many cruise ship experiences in the next decade or two...
