Hi Shellbyanne,
You're right! Mince is about the most versatile food around and can be used in many simple ways. And, best of all ITS DELICIOUS!
Every Friday I make a Spaghetti Bolognaise from scratch using only a Tub of LEGGO'S Tomato Paste, Puree, and a 300g tin of WATTIE'S Tomato Sauce, a grind or more of Black Pepper, Not forgetting the usual Onion and Garlic AND the Mince.
To vary it, I use ANY of the different types of Canned Tomatoes, depending on their flavours. Last week, I just happened to use DELMAINE Tomatoes with Sliced Olives. The next one I do will be Delmaine Tomates witth Garlic. There again, I may just use the Paste and Puree and add my own extras.

By the way, your Spaghetti Sauce is done and you've just put the Spaghetti in the water to cook and. . . Oh, No! You've forgotten what time you put it in!
Not to worry! Swirl the Spaghetti around with your Fork, and just snag a few strands on a tine and lift them out. Give them a twirl onto the fork and see how tight they roll on. While you're at it, eaet them and see what they're like.
IF the spaghetti wraps itself tightly around the Fork, like wet string to a stick, it should be ready. You'll know for sure when you eat it and its the way you like it. All that's left now is to drain it into a seive (Don't want to waste any by it falling through the holes in a "Calendar," do we?)
NOTE to ALL: When draining the Pasta, Be VERY CAREFUL!! Turn the cold tap on when you drain it so the cold water kills the steam, or most of it, so it doesn't hit you in the face.

Wash your Hands, Cook Safely and Enjoy your Results! If there are younglings around who also share an interest in Cooking, make sure they know all of the above. And more!
