I only buy UHT milk because I don't drink milk. UHT Milk doesn't have to be refrigerated until it is opened. It has a long "best before" date so there is none wasted. UHT Milk is processed at a much higher temperature. Becuase of a serious medical condition I buy semi-skim Devondale UHT Milk- not as much fat but much better than skim, and tastes a lot better too. Be aware that some of the cheap brands only keep for 5 days when opened (and aren't as good quality) whereas Devondale definitely keeps for 7 days. CAT17,, one problem with billy can milk. When it rained sometimes it ran off the milky's hat into your milk. My Aunty saw that happen on a few occasions.
