we cannot wrap ourselves in cotton wool and avoid travelling because of the world situation.we must travel safer, avoid countries where civil and military unrest exists.wait at some stage in our lives these countries will become peaceful and we can visit if we wish.i have just returned from bangkok.the people in general are really sorry about what is happening to there country and are very apologetic to tourists for the few who are carrying out these atrocities.i will bereturning to thailand.it is a beautiful country with beautiful people.
