Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

I was talking with an elderly friend who has borne more than her share of sad things over the years. As an aside to the story that she was relating she said that she had forgotten that the next day was the anniversary of one of her twin grand-daughter's death, (the other the following week).
My dear friend had thought that she never would get past that double traged ,and for many years each anniversary had been a time of deep and lasting depression for her - yet somehow she has eventually managed to get through the pain - and so will you. Already I can 'hear' the laughter in your 'voice' as you recall the joy that you shared in his ready celebration of the 'silly season'.
Wishing you sunshine and rainbows, unexpected surprises, and a Christmas that is better than you anticipate.
