How do you feel about Christmas? Love it? Hate it?

Do you wish Christmas would come and go quickly or do you look forward to it with great enthusiasm? Do you believe Christmas has lost its meaning given all the materialistic connotations associated with it or does it still have a special place in your heart?

I just find Christmas time a stressful time. I hate the crowds in the shops. I live in a tourist town on the coast and normally it's easy to get a car park at the local shopping centre and get thru the checkout quite quickly. But Christmas, you can't get anywhere to park and the shopping centre is just packed full of people like sardines squashed in a can and it takes (what feels like) a year to get thru the checkouts. So stressful. Whenthe actual day arrives things quiten down a little at my house, as all the preparation is over and we just get to enjoy the day. My family and I spend the entire day together, eating a lovely meal, giving out pressies and then we spend hours playing Wii, usually the Ten-pin bowling, it's so much fun and we laugh our heads off as we all get slightly competitive.
I don't mind Christmas, I just hate the run up to it.
