As our family grew and grandchildren came alone, we gave up the hot Christmas dinner idea, especially in the heat. We create 2 large platters - one seafood with prawns, crab cakes, etc. and one meat with sliced ham, turkey, thinkly sliced eye fillet, etc. We absolutely stack the platters with asparagus, mango, and everything you can imagine. Everyone loves our Christmas dinner and the platters and leave the platters clean !!
