My friend and I are willing to collect and compile and sample recipies for those of us who have had a gastric bypass. Since we can have little to do with vegetables because of little or no stomach most will be high protien and how to make it not taste like sand in your food, and flavorful veg and startches. Help us out and we want to publish one to help others like us who have had to make this lifestyle change but still want a variety and flavor of the food we do eat. Thanks!!!

OMG some one has finally taken up the challenge of compiling a recipe book. Please, please, please put me on top of your list as I am living on oats and more oats.
My Mum has come up with this recipe though and it's one thing I can keep down.

You lightly fry up 1 roughly chopped onion add some garlic, in a large saucepan you then add 750gm of brocolli florets and 1 roughly chopped carrot with 3 cups of liquid stock. You can use either chicken or vegetable or half and half. Drain the liquid from 440gm can of cannelini beans and add to vegetables after the cool slightly. Then place the whole lot in a blender and blend until smooth. You can add salt and pepper if you like but we don't. As it has no cream or any fat it's easy to digest. I can be frozen and reheated in the microvave. You can use any mix of vegies so long as you don't forget the stock and cannelini beans. Have a try and see if it is good enough for your book.
Good Luck
Angela
