There is one company left in Australia which makes frozen vegies totally from Aust vegies. The other Co.s are/ have moved to New Zealand where they can buy Chinese vegies without altering their labels. Which would leave us with no Aust.
product if this last Aust Co.has to close. What happens then ?We will rely on food grown outside Australia,
This news comes from SBS last night.

I feel we should only be buying Australian food. We are a self sufficient country that has farmers digging crops into the ground because the government bows to foreign pressure for imports. The sooner all aussies start buying aussie grown and owned food the less reason we will have to worry about our health from cheap and nasty imports. I also believe we should only import what we cant make.

Hi Cazmo, I fully agree with you, what $ we'll save on the substandard imported food we will have to spend in health bills.

I agree. Just look at what has happened recently. Rasberries poisoning people. Tinned fish. What next. getting scary. The worst thing is the foreign countries that grow food stuffs with filthy surroundings are sneaking them through New Zealand. A country whos food handling I trusted. Our governments need to grow up and look at what is happening. I think the health of all Australians come well before shonky trade deals.
