I have been to a few places in the swan valley in Western Australia mainly winery's. they were great experiences. I find other places in Perth alittle lax on the customer service. I think these people don't enjoy there jobs and let the restaurant down.

Hi there Aliyaraya, like so many other people I have found that most Asian restaurants have reasonable food, but every once in a while there is one that is exceptional. The same applies to Italian food. I do not live in Perth but I had one last meal in a restaurant with my Mum shortly before she passed away. The place is located on the Highway between Mandurah and Falcon overlooking a canal and the ocean. We had a great meal there but like I said it was some time ago. there is also a little Italian Cafe in Mandurah at the park that served great authentic pizza.

Sorry i forgot to mention this restaurant is in North Perth, not far from the main nightspots in Northbridge. But much more classy than the normal places in that area!!

I recently found a nice Thai restaurant in Perth, its called Dusit Thai. Its a really nice dining experience, all their staff are really polite and make you feel welcome each time you are there. It is a little more pricey than other places but for a special occasion its a nice place to go. Very quick service and always staff around to clear away things from your table, highly recommended!

I went for a holiday up to Echuca/Moama and I always eat at a hotel in Moama when we are there by the Name of the Border Inn...they have a website look them up. Apart from some international cuisine they have the basic favorites but the difference is apart from there great chefs is their produce. I had one of the best steaks I had had in years, when I asked where they bought in their meat. They stated Wodonga another prominent country town. That answered my questions we export most of our great meat any wonder the produce was from the country! All I have to say is Yum Yum Great Food Border Inn every meal....

You should be living in Perth. Overpriced bad service and sometimes you are made to feel that THEY are only tolerating you because they had nothing better to do that night!!!!! What happened to HAPPY CUSTOMERS are the best advertisement in the world and UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS spread like wild fire.
I always comment the staff both front and back of house if I have had a good experience. Often people only complain and forget to the compliment when they have had a good experience. Unfortunately here the good experiences are few and far between.
