That so called assassination attempt was a simple stunt, the type that is seen in so many movies. The actor (Trump) simply has a container like a small balloon containing false blood, at the appropriate time he put it up to his ear and squashed the fake blood out.

It wasn't a set up. It was one crazed, disenfranchised youth, lone wolf school shooter type. A person who sees no hope for their future and reacts to someone or some policy they do not agree with and act upon it.
