I am not sure what the issue you are facing in regard to internet security. Kasperksy web‑protection layer is where people most often notice trouble. Bitdefender and Norton 360 are supposedly better than Kaspersky in blocking phishing, ransomware and malicious URLs. We have used Trend Micro for years. They rebranded in April 2026 to Trend Life.
You do need to install all updates as they are released for any internet security to be useful.
Bitdefender Total Security — strongest real‑world protection
Trend Life — excellent phishing protection
Norton 360 Deluxe — best all‑rounder with extras
Some people have problems with their email address as it has been pwned, meaning your email address has been exposed in a data breach, potentially putting your accounts and personal information at risk. If this is the case, you may wish to change your email.
