I am interested in exchanging ideas for easy embroidery on paper. I have done prick and stitch cards but would like to widen my field with this type of craft. Has anybody got any ideas as my library has limited access.

I am aware of Iris folding cards and have instructions on how to do it but I am really wanting more ideas on easy embroidery on paper. I would love to get hold of some new patterns for Christmas cards too.

My girls and I have down Iris Folding (Google search
) or look at http://www.iris-folding.com/freepatterns.html or http://www.circleofcrafters.com/irisfolding/makeirisfoldingpatterns.html. It is not embroidery, but it is fun and all ages can achieve it.

I hate working with paper, it's too fiddly. I knit and cross-stitch and paint instead. What about quilling? I have a friend who has made some beautiful cards with quilling.

I love most craft and have done cross stitch and decorative painting etc. If you think paper craft is fiddly, well quilling is too. I have all the tools for quilling and I have not yet started it but have seen a demo on it. I have since met some other card crafters and we are exchanging ideas. Card making is very popular where I live and I make all my cards and don't find it fiddly at all, guess that's because I enjoy doing it.
