You beauty. The Kings Speech won best movie.
A darn good story, great direction and fabulous cast brought about a well deserved result.
It's so refreshing to see good acting instead of special effects making a world wide impact, and on a tiny budget compared to Hollywood standards.
Best director ... oh yeah.
Firth ... best actor. Well deserved.
Rush ... missed out for best supporting actor ... robbed.
I loved the movie and hope this prompts more people to take a look.

I loved seeing Jennifer Ehle as Geoffrey Rush's wife, given that she was Elizabeth Bennet in the Pride & Prejudice where we all discovered Colin Firth in the first place! And watching Rush's character audition for the suburban amateur theatrical society was absolute unalloyed bliss.

I agree the film was fantastic and it was great not to have foul language for a change. Colin Firth played an excellent part and is so versatile as an actor. The character is The Kings Speech was totally opposite to the one he played in Mama Mia.
