This was an interesting discussion because I'm a big fan of scifi/fantasy genre.
Just finished a Tad Williams epic and now reading Kate Elliott.
Tried reading Donaldson about 25 years ago but just couldn't get into it. Maybe it's time to try again. What would you recommend I start with?

Hi shar, I have read every one of Stephen's books and I am waiting for his next book in the Thomas Covenant series, Against al things ending. Iv'e read the Gap series 3 times and found that I had missed some vital bits because I had been speed reading at exiting chapters.
