recently the been talk about 18 + Games to be allowed to be sold in store is it good to be sold to australia or bad?

I think its good because it allow the game to be untouch not been recut into more weak version of game sold in Australia who want to ban it from being sold in retail store and game store.

I say Let Australia gamer to allow 18 + Games to be sold every country has 18+ over game already been sold in game store around world except for us!!!!!
only thing is when you buy the game the sales clerk need to ask everyone who buy the game show some ID like when you buy cigarette or alcohol.

What is your say in all this should we be allowed to get 18+ over game on gaming console including Xbox 360, ps3, wii, pc.

should be remain in dark ages where game been so cut we dont know what story line should be ..

Definitely. Australia is taking a game that was made to 18+ and taking it down to MA, defeating the overall aim of the gaming company. If someone is over 18 and has the necessary ID to prove it, then why can't they? People say Australia is a free country, and I know it's not as true as it sounds, but it does state that you are free to do whatever you want until it negatively effects others or puts them at some kind of risk. I fail to understand how selling 18+ games in Australia could put others at risk. You don't like it? Don't buy it. Simple.

its about time we got 18 + games my thought is if you dont want to see material from game with a mature nature then you dont buy them just because you dont want them doesnt mean someone else doesnt
why should we miss out on great games such as mortal kombat an iconic game just because of a few complain saying that everyone who plays them is going to turn into a drug lord or mass murderer just because we play games
if were paying top dollar for our games we should get the whole thing not just what the goverment tells us we can and be happy about it

I think it is a very good thing. About time it is allowed. I think many gamers will love this idea. It is annoying when your game is censored because you live in Australia.

It is about time that they allow it. If they do not sell them here they are ordered from overseas by whom so ever wants them. Many games shops will love to be able to sell these games but are hamstrung by government restrictions. In being restricted they are denied sales they might have otherwise had. It doesn't stop people buying them overseas so why not allow sales here??
