I have read a lot of her books - some are intriguing others I have to plough through. She writes under another name too but I can't think of it right now.

I've been reading Noras' books for years now since my daughter put me on to her - my daughter has quite a Nora Roberts collection & even her writings under JD Robb. She certainly knows how to set a plot be it mystery or romance. I personally luv her trilogies - could keep reading her books forever. Well done Nora Roberts.

I luv her books the best that I have read were the series 3 books called heaven and earth ,face the fire and dance upon the air they were a spiritual type story and I couldnt put them down a must read everyone ....

My mum reads Nora Roberts for the romance and historical romance fiction. I think she reads her under JD Robb (?) for the mystery style stuff.
Not sure if it's a generational thing, or just a literary taste thing, but I'm not drawn to romance novels.

Nora Roberts is the bomb I love her book been reading them for years have you seen any of the ones they have made into movies ? they are great. I have been sick for awhile now and reading has been a very big chore the last year or so and I really want to get back into it again I miss my time reading her works and relaxing .

I luv her books - the trilogys specially - as one book is never enough. I got hooked on her books thanks to my daughter & she also reads JD Robb - Noras' other name she writes under. I can only afford 2nd hand books since i'm a disabled pensioner or i go to the library - they don't have a good selection though. Enjoy everyone.

I don't really like any of her books as Roberts, but I love her In Death series when she's writing as JD Robb, starting to try and collect them.

i have never heard of Nora Roberts

Hey,
I LOVE Nora Roberts who also writes as J D Robb. I really love her detective Eve series 'In death'. The books are a fab thriller series that is a real page turner and an edge of the seat author. Now that I have an iPad it is so much easier to get her book and read them anywhere I go!!!

Hey here I go again - i like Nora Roberts (JD Robbs)books, and the characters - some of NRs books have had movies done and JDRs books, I don't think there would be anyone who could act the parts.

cas

Yes, I read Nora Roberts writing as J.D.Robb, I must say I`m not to fussed on her romance novels, but the J.D.Robb series, blows me away, I cannot get enough of them, I like patricia Cornwell, but the "in death" series is great reading (J.D.Robb) its set in the future, in New York, a police series fasinating,a must read, I would give Nora Roberts 5 star rating

Yeah, my daughter said I must really like NRs books to watch them, that was the thing so I just keep reading - and there's a cheap book shop near Central where I look sometimes but they don't do NR/JDR too often.
cas
The "in death" series are great - and really move along. I have seen some of the movies, they're okay, but seem to lack the depth of the books. Libraries are great for getting her books - and good for you for donating them. I'm sure it is much appreciated.

I have read a lot of Nora Roberts and JD Robbs books, have seen a few of the books made into movies, my daughter and I read JD Robb books together from the beginning from the library and if we missed one, we'd look for it and buy it, and I'd donate them to my local library. Yeah, I like her books.

I haven't read Jilly Cooper. I'll look out for her and give her a try.

I went off Patricia Cornwell and James Patterson at much the same time, but I must say the last two Scarpetta yarns have shown some improvemet. With James Patterson , his chapters are too short and there is not much reading volume in the whole book lately,
I enjoy Jilly Cooper and have read and collected the series until there was no more room in the bookcase.
cas
I have read almost all of the Patricia Cornwell books. The last few have left me a little cold as I feel her earlier novels were a little more "less obvious". I agree with you - 5 out of 5 for Nora Roberts - no matter what name she chooses to write under.
cas
Romance - cops & robbers (?) - and sci fi. Loved The Seven. All her books have well rounded characters that you can believe and understand almost immediately.

I love Nora Roberts books too, she writes in different styles so she
is read by people with different tastes, everything from romance to crime and mystery. I like them all.

I enjoy her Irish magical stories, they are nice and easy light reading.

Nope dont know who Nora Roberts is but will look her up now - hey are you her PR Manager - good ploy
woosif
I obviously read totally different books I like Clive Cussler and the like, full on energy 007 with some form of saving the world get the girl and treasure - takes me away from reality...
cas
Not her PR Manager - wish I was as she must make a heap of moolah! So many books sold around the world!
