Unidentified flying objects
Our concept of a UFO is that it is from another planet which has been sighted by only a few people simple fact. Now to work the other perspective. In other words how and when can we send a spacecraft to a distant planet so that they would think it was an Unidentified flying object? With our current technology the fastest space craft would travel at approx 250,000 km/h. Taking into the distance required to travel to our nearest star at 4.22 light-years (268,000 AU, or 40 trillion km)it would take some time naturally. OK we have established that the craft we see as UFO’s are small so were is the “mother ship”
The one we send to the nearest star has to be an advanced unmanned spacecraft and able to through the void of space with little or no energy as there would be no solar power.
One way we could save fuel is to hitch a ride onto a Halley’s Comet. This comet takes 76 years to complete a return trip. At a certain time the spacecraft is released and slung out to complete the journey. Problem here is we don’t really know where it goes so therefore we have to send an exploratory craft first to met and latch onto, wait till it returns and send in the real mission.
Once we get the spacecraft to the destination it has to explore and somehow report its findings. Do we send a multipurpose spacecraft to spread out over this solar galaxy? Our next problem is retrieving all this information from such a vast distance. We have a problem with Voyager 1 and 2 in this situation.
So to prove that Unidentified Flying Objects do exist we have to make on ourselves. Have the technological knowledge and hardware to send a multipurpose spacecraft to a distant galaxy and retrieve the information and expect this mission to take over 100 years to complete.
In conclusion I believe that we are not alone in the universe but as distance is so great we will not met them for a thousand plus years.

try talking about something that you know about
you obviously have no idea about time, distance, power, effects, etc

to be quite honest, a UFO is exactly that; an unidentified flying object.
even a bird can be a ufo if not recognised.
as for the not from this realm belief, i am with most. interdimentional travel and/or space warping is about the only way these objects could reach us.

Well said, Chicken Man! You ar right! A UFO IS as defined an Un identified Flying Object, and yes, eve something as common as a bird can be a UFO if its seen at height or an odd angle. even a plane can be a UFO, especially when you see some of the strange looking planes flying in the skies lately. Especially some of these "Top Secret" things turned out by the US.
What you say ion the other half of your comment, however, is just someone's imagination going wild, and their theories are getting the better of them. Perhaps too much SCI-FI taken seriously.
As I mentioned in my other comment, I have actually SEEN a UFO and I was with a couple of my mates. Even I admit, I don't know where it came from, and I WON'T theorise or make it up. I feel privelaged to have seen it, and that's all I can say, apart from not every forgetting it. I often think about it and wonder who was in it and where they came from. Even today I wonder how they are, or if they are still alive. I can also admit that I would, one day perhaps, but it won't be very likely, actually MEET these people who piloted that craft.
Who knows? (I don't) They just MIGHT be reading THIS!

quite a lot of ufo sightings are actually the sightings of demons and angels .. for the past couple of years the ufo sightings have actually grown in number especially during the big disasters like 911 and the japan tsunami and many more . next years 2012 think about it who brought up the idea of life on other planets the scientists who invented evolution

You cannot be serious!!! WHERE did you get that sort of rubbish from?
I'm sorry, but you are very misguided, and by the sound of it, it smacks of religious ignorance. I mean, "demons and angels?" GET REAL!!!
Also, where did you get this information from? OPEN YOUR EYES!!
UFO's are real. VERY REAL!! They just aren't very common. Unless you're in a place where, for some reason, they just happen for be common. I, for one, am a witness to a genuine UFO, and I was with two good mates at the time. No, we weren't drunk.
For the record, just in case anyone is interested, I am a fully paid Member of UFO Research Queensland, based in Brisbane, but I just happen to live here in Turangi, NZ. if ANYONE happens to be lucky enough to see a UFO, look up your nearest UFO Research Group. There are many throughour Australia, representing every State, but belong to one big Group. NZ has a Group or two. When In doubt, do a Search.
As for Evolution, again, USE YOUR EYES!!! Evolution is happening right before your very eyes, 24/7/365 (or 356 for this year). It may not look it, but its going on ALL THE TIME.
An example, although not a life form, is the very computer you're using. It wasn't all that long ago we never had them. Flat Screen TV's and Displays? I can count on my hand the few years ago CASIO's offering for a Pocket TV was 4 x 2 x 1 Inches and cost $300. Now you can get a PHONE (GALAXY 2, iPHONE 4, and others with AMOLED Displays so fine you can't even see the individual Pixels. Its the same with the CRUZ Pad with it's 7 inch display, and that costs $149. That's only Technological Evolution, and its RACING away or advaned every day, better and better.
ACTUAL NATURAL EVOLUTUON? Forget that bullshit you hear from the vatican and other religious maniacs, look at US for example! In the late 1800's, the Human life expectancy was as old as 60 if you were lucky. Now, WE will live past 120.
When I was a kid, I used to play REWIND THE MOVIE and rewind LIFE, History and The Universe BACK as far as I could imagine, and in the beginning was. . . NOTHING!! But, even THAT is hard to define, because even NOTHING is SOMETHING. It's NOTHING!
Belive what YOU see, NOT what you're told. You can even ignore what I've said here, and that's your choice. But, IF you think I'm right, good. IF you believe the vatican, sorry, but you're a LOST cause.
UFO'S? I see them as just Really Flash Transports, which they are. And boy, I'd sure like to have one for myself. Think STAR WARS/TREK. LAMBDA Class Shuttles, Orinoko Class Runabouts.Fiction? Yes. Possible? YES! Does Repulsorlift Technology exist? YES! WE saw it!v Smoothe, FAST, Quiet! It was very REAL!! Nothing to be scared of. Honestly!

Hi, when I was 7 odd I used to play spotlight at the stars, we lived in brookvale. I spotted something a bright light moving accross the clear sky & called my mother & brother outside to look at it. Now it came accross the sky from west to east then was in one spot circling, a plane appeared in the west heading in the direction of the object, when it suddenly shot straight up & was gone, so I have no doubt we are not alone, as for the time it takes to travel, we have no idea how much more advanced they are let alone how long they have been alive compared to us. Maybe the movie the navigator is not so far fetched.

I too have seen a strange light in the sky and to actually see it change direction. It would be kind of hard to dispute what I saw and to rule it out as some sort of falling star or satelite etc. I think you would have been fairly fortunate to see that kind of behaviour in a bright light particularly when it grabbed your attention enough to call your family out to see it for themselves. :)

Agree. The distances measured in light years means that by the time a UFO could report back about Earth, we would have blown the planet apart ourselves whether physically or by depletion of natural resources sustaining life.
