Between the 11 May and 15 May 2010 please choose one of these days. The idea is for you to make yourself one small cake, sit down and enjoy it with a nice cuppa. There must be no distractions for 15 minutes. Just relax remove all worries and enjoy.
Now you have heard the old one " Sticks and stones may break your bones ' for the first day of the month. This is too violent and I wish to change it to
"HUGS AND KISSESS FOR THE FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH AND MANY RETURNS."

Sounds good, but how about make-a-carrot-cake-and-invite-friends-over-to-share-it-day? Otherwise all the goodness of home cooking is kind of undone by the unhealthy fact that you're sitting there scoffing down a cake by yourself! I for one am going to do it. Where did this idea come from? I really like it. "No reason to make a cake day", like people are going to be united all over the world in the name of NOT having any reason to make cake, but wanting to anyway! Thumbs up!

If I make a cake any day, then I eat it. Not good for the waistline..... But hope you all enjoy and hugs and kisses to all

hehehe. I make cakes pretty much every week. My best friend and I have a special "Tea Time" almost every Sunday. We even dress up.

Eat the cake good but now have to work five times harder to work it off.

I rather buy a cake and lay back and lax it with a cuppa

How about instead of wasting your time on sugar-coating harmless age-old sayings that are meant in good humour, you direct your energy to do something to change the real violence going on in world. Watched the news lately?

I have not heard about this "make a cake day" until now. but why make it just this week? We should all embrace good old fashioned home cooking. There doesn't seem to be enough of it any more with many people electing to get fast food for it's convenience...

It has to be spontaneous. Just for that special moment when nothing is happening in your life of importance.

Sorry but got the saying wrong
It is pinch and a punch 1st day of the month and no returns to be changed to
HUGS AND KISSESS FOR THE FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH AND MANY RETURNS."
