With the recent Lara Bingle and Michael Clarke problems do you think that the Media were far too intrusive and judgemental. It seemed very cruel and biased reporting.

Just because they report it doesn't make it true. Reporting with integrity should be upheld but I guess it doesn't make as much money.

Yes I fully agree. Even though they are both in the public eye does not give the media right to report every move they make. They are normal people, trying to live a normal life just like everybody else

No, I think it's the media's job to make something from nothing, it's how they make their money, but I admit sometimes they do go a little out of line.

Latest gossip on the internet, says Lara Bingle is now dating Adam Parore (NZ Cricketer). But something strange, he only just broke up with Sally Ridge (Matthew Ridge's ex wife) 5 weeks ago. Hmm wonder if Lara was the cause of that?

Maybe you're right and I think that we might have exhausted this subject now and should probable move on to another, like for instance what's your feeling on the republican debate? Do you support it or would rather leave everything as is. My personal view is that everything works OK the way it is already and there doesn't seem to be any definate plans for how an Australian Republic is going to be run for us to make a judgement on.

I have known of women that will deliberately target a married man. Where as most normal women steer clear of men who are not single.

Lara seems to be australia's version of Angelina Jolie and is always blamed for breaking up husband and wife, but when do the husbands start to get some of the blame, it appears to me that they are not blameless. Surely they should have some control and if marriages can be broken so easily there surely must be problems there somewhere.

The media have a job to do, and to find what is interesting for the moment.
Both Lara and Michael are celebrities and having to deal with the media is part of their job. Not a nice part, but its all part of the job.
What the media report may not be true, its up to the public to believe what they want.

Yes, I agree it's the news medias job and these people such as celebrities are in the public eye but they are after all human beings and have feelings like the rest of us. They might be fair game but there has to be a limit to how far the media goes. How would most of these reporters feel if their private lives were delved into and broadcast for all the world to see.You say it's up to the public to believe what they want but unfortunately lots of people take the news medias reporting as gospel.

Yes the media is far too intrusive and judgmental - but if you don't like what's being reported - you don't have to read it-seems like he had enough input from all other corners - just leave them alone.

I get where you're coming from, I've heard her once, now I change the channel -true, they have to increase ratings - and it looks good when everyone stays on the channel - but what happens when noone does and goes elsewhere - they do surveys or whatever and start looking for someone else to hassle. It's a long and boring way about doing things - I just prefer to change the channel.

It is hard to avoid this as the Current Affairs programs on TV keep it on screen so much as with the current reporting on Pauline Hanson's property. When they all think she is such a terrible woman, why do they keep giving her so much Air time. I suppose they get good mileage from it. It seems like it doesn't matter what they do to people as long as they get their story.
