Yes,people should not get animals(pets) if they are not going to look after them.

I agree. Animals should be looked after, I have cats and I probably go a little overboard, but they're part of the family. I know it's kind of a problem, though, when I start liking them more than people. LOL.

I love most animals and believe that they have a right to live health lives,if they rely on someone then don't let them down in any way,fed and care for them and love them too

Absolutely, I think all animals should be given the care they need if and when they need it. Domestic animals such as my dogs probably get too much, but that's what I do, their part of the family :o)

i am the same
the only problem is political and financial
politicians promise the world and hardly ever come across it is all about money
and they never seem to have any for what we all need

Well now mate, it seems to me the animals behind bars get all the taking care of! More comfort than most animals in the wild.

I absolutely agree but some people do go over the top with all the animal protection stuff...

All animals should be looked after well. All time spent with a well looked after animal will equal far more in return.

The joy that the animals can give back to us is also huge considering what we give them food and shelter. They give us loyalty and love and trust.

There is loving a cat or animal and then there's going over board in the amount of food given,I call that "Over Loved"

The little bit of love can mean more to that animal than can be measured in words alone

Yes what a shame that this happens more these days and that's how most of our cats came to our place
