Our son fought Retinoblastoma and lost his eye due to this form of childhood cancer a few years ago now
We applied for him to receive a wish through Make A Wish, but was told that they deliver wishes only to terminal children and because his eye had been removed then they considered him "cured". Which I thought was disgraceful!
We were then referred by our hospital councillor to Starlight Foundation, who were not only disgusted at our previous experience, but granted the wish of my son to visit the snow quickly. We are forever grateful and will always support this organisation!
We also support Relay For Life, who assisted with fundraising to finance the donated holiday experience. Our son was Face of Relay in 2013.

Help Caféstudy members by responding to their questions, or ask your own in Café Chat, and you will get the chance of earning extra rewards. Caféstudy will match these and donate equally to our two chosen Australian charities.

AMCS
Australian Marine Conservation Society are an independent charity, staffed by a committed group of scientists, educators and passionate advocates who have defended Australia’s oceans for over 50 years.
Reach Out
ReachOut is the most accessed online mental health service for young people and their parents in Australia. Their trusted self-help information, peer-support program and referral tools save lives by helping young people be well and stay well. The information they offer parents makes it easier for them to help their teenagers, too.
