Does Christmas get to you? When you are in a state of panic just stop. Save a little of that panic for next Christmas. After all another one is only 12 months away. Buying presents? Well you probably won't get it right unless you ask someone what they would like. Afterwards they can give it to someone else or take it back to the shop and exchange it. Maybe you like to panic. That's a valid reason. In that case go ahead and have a jolly good panic. Spend too much money? Some people get a buzz from that so if you do go ahead blow your budget. The thing is enjoy it. Whatever you are doing this xmas enjoy it. If you like being aggressive or lash out at people give me a warning if you're coming my way and I'll give you a wide berth!

For me Christmas is a very stressful time of the year,I have to buy presents for lots of young relatives and it always leads me to stress deciding what to buy for them. The crowds that go to the shopping centres at this time of year is really bad and the lack of parking at the shopping centres really gets my blood boiling.

I have to buy presents when I see them. If I wait till Christmas I can't find anything suitable. It's a bit hard because I only have a small place and little room to store them. The thing is - I...

Agreed.
It's just become another commercialised event that has little original meaning.
Why can't people see these days as just another day of the year.
Take for example Valentine's Day. Why wait till this day to show your love to your partner? Why not do it all year round?
What about Australia Day? Do we have to wait till January just to tell the world that we're awesome?
Do we forget about the ANZACS unless it's ANZAC day?

I have to buy presents when I see them. If I wait till Christmas I can't find anything suitable. It's a bit hard because I only have a small place and little room to store them. The thing is - I rarely get it right. Do you find you get what people want? Then I get a lot of anger thrown at me by people who are stressed out. Sometimes I think they love to take it out on an old woman because even if I did take a swing at them I have little muscle power. There seems to be so little respect for anyone nowadays. They know I have no comeback. I want to scream at them "Its about the birth of Jesus" Last year the Christmas Crib was put in front of a rubbish bin at our local shops and Santa sat in a large luxurious set up in the center of the shops. It doesn't matter what religion you are that's what Christmas is about. I went to the information desk and they did change it. I find I don't like Christmas very much..
