I try to buy from Aus sites online, like The Iconic. Some offer free shipping and returns and the clothes are a bit more expensive but I've never been unhappy with the quality.

You could always buy from companies online that you know eg ASOS, Topshop, Zara ect and that when you know you won't get scammed

Don't some shops offer free shipping?

I shop online at least once a month. I would just spend the whole afternoon researching the product, which website should I buy it from, is it trustworthy, does it ships to here, how much does shipping cost and where is the website based at. Things I buy ranges from clothing to makeup to books and technology accessories. Generally I target free shipping cost or a flat rate shipping cost. Some sites even offers free shipping after purchasing a certain amount of $$. After my first experience with the website was positive, I tend to buy from the same website. So do a thorough research before buying anything online.

the only group I buy with is deals direct, and I get a car voucher, then go down and get it serviced a lot cheaper. I once did go online for some beauty items, then found that every month, even though I cancelled I still got charged and di not get the items, so had to cancel bankcard out and start all over again, so very wary about anything now...

I shop around for a particular product and search every site until I find the one that is cheapest when adding the product price + shipping.

I agree with you I like to see what I am getting and also perceive that there can be major problems with returning unsuitable goods that have been purchased on line.
