Hiya fellow cafestudy members,

Just a tip I'd thought I'd pass on.
Tis the season for Weeds! especially if they are growing in between concrete gaps just put pour some good old table salt on them....Kills Them!
Seriously this really works, it works all on weeds, just be careful as it will kill anything, so your beloved plants will also die.
So be careful pour onto Weeds Only!

All the best,

Cheers,
Lise

Wow!!! You learn something new every day! I so prefer to use good ol' salt than those expensive poisons that are so readily available in our supermarkets. Thank you so much for the tip!!!

Hiya GodzGirl,

You're most welcome :)
Anything to try and save money & basic salt...like you said amazing, as all those weed kill products are very expensive.

Have a good week :)

Do you put the salt on straight or do you have to mix it with water?

Another thought, if you eat home cooked corned beef, when cooked, pour the hot salty water on a few weeds instead of down the sink! Cheers, Simla

Good thinking Simia. We will have those nasty weeds dead in no time.
