Is there a school or class you can take to learn how to walk in high heels? I find it hilarious watching girls struggle when wearing high heels. I've seen many fall & others that honestly look terrible, somehow resembling a flamigo! I dont want to sound cruel, but i avoid heels that are just too high for me or are not flattering unless i am standing still. You need good legs & the ability to make it seen flawless & confortable. Any suggestions?

Now my legs barely carry me. It does not stop me looking at high heels, I love te look of them. Not the clumpy soles, a lovely straight stiletto heel and the sole thin, the whole a picture of elegance. Peter Choo shoes for example. Apparently they are elegant but made with so much care & design women walk in them for hours.
They are all handmade, it makes the difference, made to the actual shape of the foot. If I could go back to even my forties which soo long ago I would have a pairLOL
All through my teens I wore heels so thin & high, they had screws in the heels, that is how the heel were repaired, new screws. We were banned from entering certain buildings because of te damage to the floors. We were made to take our shoes off by friends sometimes so much damage to the floors. One of the fashions a long time ago. Black suede, stilettos, so smart

I wish I had a time machine. There are 2 people I would back in time an assassinate.
The person who invent high heels, and the person who invented the man's tie.
What useless item of apparel, unless you want to use them as weapons.

I wish there was a school to teach you.. As I love shoes and wonder how many other women can manage to walk around in their 10" stilettos
I have learnt just to wear a smaller heel but would love to walk around confidently without looking like a flamingo lol

I used to wear high heels when I was a younger woman but gave up wearing them during the grunge era of the '90s. It was liberating to be able to walk properly and run if I needed to in my flat, kick-arse boots. Have never gone back to wearing high heels and absolutely refuse to. High heels damage your feet and spine. I don't understand why so many young girls today choose to wear them when there are so many other options around these days. I'll always be a boot girl!
