YES! I have a black cat, and she is adorable! She is 12 now, but the vet thought she was like 9 because she is so youthful and sprightly. She is a British black shorthair, so her fur goes brown when she has been in the sun... kind of like a tan!
The funniest thing about having a black cat is when it's dark, you can only see their eyes! It's hard to look for them in the dark though!

No sorry try the RSPCA

I recently went to my local RSPCA, with the intention of adopting a little white Kitten. I found an adorable little boy, desexed, tattooed and micro chipped for $130.
I ended up walking out with my newly adopted Kitten and his Mother, as they have a policy, where, if you adopt the last Kitten of a Litter, you have to be willing to take it's Mother too. Both desexed, tattooed and micro chipped for $130.
Mother and Son have happily settled in now and are a big part of our family.

Well that is good to know it would be a pity if you didn't want the mother

Try the RSPCA. If they have one near you, they already treat them & vaccinate them. SO you do not need to worry & it works out cheaper than getting your pet vaccinated on your own.
My landlord where i live got both his cat & his dog from the RSPCA.

What suburb are you? YOu may need to try looking for an RSPCA in a neighbouring suburb.
