I would like to know if I am the only person in Australian who is concerned that with all the issues facing Australia,ie Crime,drugs,alcohol and the problems that it creates, unemployment, The cost of living and how it is getting higher and higher,ie power and water.Also education,the cost of decent health care and all of the others things that this new government should be addressing,the main thing that seems to be taking most of their effort is the Boat people.Does our new leader realy think that this is the only problem facing the country that he is going full tilt at it.Does he truely think that spending Tax payers money to buy the boats and then burn them is going to end the problem,HELLO,do you know how many of these boats there are out there Mr Abbott. Why don't you start directing your efforts at fixing things up here as you said you were going to do,or was that all just hot air to get elected.

he actually solved the problem didn't he and saved a bucket load of money and another 1200 people from drowning

Yup,Dave! It was all just BS from Tightass Tony to get the "Big Job". Have you watched Parliament since it restarted, poor guy hasn't got a clue and the whole Little Nasty People party still acts as if it is in opposition. Beehive Bron is biased as Speaker (highest paid job in politics), Silent Scott Morrison ...um, silent, Apoplectic Poodle Pyne is still in attack mode, Jools and Tightass embarrassing dealing with Foreign leaders, not to mention the rorts and I wonder,( as they were committed 7 years ago if they would have been noticed) but repaid only when found out .
Tightass doesn't believe in Science (no Minister for Science) so I would ask him why he is sooo sporty, I think all Medical persons complete a Bachelor of Science as well as their speciality as do many personal trainers, alternative health practitioners who have to quote Scientific evidence for their degree/adv diploma.Ditto most of this re Climate Change!
Give to the rich and ignore the poor , many of whom got sucked in to the Slogans.

Australia has been sold a pup and are only realising a HUGE mistake!
