I strongly support world vision because seeing people that are blind or partly blind that don't get to see the beautiful world we live in.

A lady I used to work with sponsored some children through World Vision. Whilst on an overseas trip they visited the child who was quite sick. The parents had applied for help so they could take her to a Doctor for treatment and had been refused. THe little girl was so sick that she needed full time care of both parents. Neither of them were able to work at all to feed themselves. When the lady found out she went and spoke to the people in the office of World Vision that day. They told her they didn't give money for such things only for general projects. After that the lady politely told them what she thought of their methods of use of funds and paid the money directly to the family.
