I believe Pauline whilst passionate about somethings does not have the necessary mental agility to get the 'follow through' accomplished. I also feel she needs to acknowledge that the world is global and that Australia like it or not is NOT going to stay 'white Anglo-saxon so it would be better to find ways of working WITH other peoples and their beliefs/cultures

I've got to disagree with you on this one Matty. Pauline may be honest, but is very outspoken and her criticism tends to offend. Unfortunatly people like her are not suited to politics, you must be able to crawl and suck up to the electorate, not say what you feel.

I got to agree with you col001 I admire Pauline and her passion but as for that type of 'passion' for politics maybe not! At least she was honest and did not say one thing and mean something else. The very unfortunate thing with the PM is we have no idea what she really believes in or is passionate about. She keeps saying she is 'determined' to do what needs to be done, but really does she truly think it is the right thing for the country or are all her decisions made on a purely political platform influenced by Unions. We all know pollies are far from our favourite people but seriously can't we at least get a government that is truly there for ALL of us and not favourite the left side of politics. I have always said we should take politics out of government then we may actually get the right policies that will benefit us all.
So many decisions that have been made by this government have cost billions and yet have not really benefitted us all. Socialists have a completely different way of looking at the world and Liberals completely the opposite. One thing for sure is that Labor always spends way too much money on ideas they alone are passionate about. And then the Liberals have to clean up the mess and try and balance the budget. I hope everyone realises that all the spending this Labor government is doing is on borrowed money - not a comforting thought don't you think?
Now if we could just get a happy medium between Pauline and Tony we just may get the right mix!!
