hi matty,i think its a deadheat! BOTH DESERVE IT! lately i've become a student of breeding, since i discovered that my old x'racing thoroughbred pet hack Simla [who's name i have taken here] is of the same bloodline as both Black Caviar and Frankel. they go back , through Northern Dancer [US]to a great unbeaten sire called Nearco.[italy] on the 4th or 5th generation back in the pedigree also the unbeaten sydney colt Pierro has this Northern Dancer/ Nearco connection on the 4th&5th line. in fact almost all the good horses racing todar go back to Nearco, as he was such a successful sire that he produced numerous top sires, Secretariat the greatest US sire ever,Niginsky, Nasrullah also come to mind. these days breeders are looking to have a number of crosses going back to this prepotant sire of yester-year the great Nearco. Wouldnt you like to see a foal from Black Caviar,by Frankel!........cheers,Simla
