My cupboard is always stocked with golden syrup, coca powder, custard, brown sugar, dried and canned fruits. So if you have the time apple pie or crumble is always a favourite. But its easier to make crumble than pastry. The favourites in my house is sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce or golden syrup dumplings. For a cold sweet - Pineapple Surprise. Oldies I know, but oh so goodies!!!

I would say Frozen Yoghurt Ice cream. It is low fat and not as expensive as normal gelato shops.
