Every morning I have two slices of Wholemeal Toast with plenty of Breakfast Marmalade on them. Does that count as a serve of Fruit? As far as Fresh fruit goes, I had an Apple with some Camembert Cheese last night. Very nice, too! I also have a Slice of Edam Cheese, off the 1Kg Block, and eat it with a Slice of Raw Onion. But, Onion isn't a Fruit, aye? Its still very good for you though.
I thought a "Pear" was TWO! Ha! Just kidding.

I have formally studied nutrition [actually finished Medical School a long time ago] for the last 25 years and am still at three US universities basically studying dietary requirements for the older generation.. The current advice is for 7-10 helpings of vegetables [yes, the Oz authorities say 5-7!] and no more than two pieces of fruit per day as the latter contains a fair amount of fructose [fruit sugar].
