Yet another preview for Home and Away is on tv showing young adults talking about who they slept with and who is pregnant to whom. This one even had a conversation with a man and woman discussing what to do about the pregnancy. She is already married and was being asked to leave her husband for the babys father. I am not naive, I know all this drama happens out in the real world, but this show has a been a high ranking show for a long time now.
There is a lot of teens out there watching these shows and thinking thats the way to go through life. This is not the way I brought my kids up, they are very respectable young adults and did not the have influence of home and away. Luckily for me , my kids never got into it.
I dont know., maybe I am just getting old but the previews I see for the show just seem wrong. I have never watched the show, I only see the preview ads for it and possibly not in a position to judge.
I just hope that the show is not being shown when my grandkids are old enough to understand.

I am a grandmother and a regular Home and Away watcher. I consider H&A to be one of the best soapies on television. Sure it sometimes has its debatable storylines but the show on the whole reflects what does happen in real life but at the same time does have some entertaining storylines too.
One of the reasons I watch it (and have done so for years now) is that in nearly every other soapie as well as ordinary tv shows (not soaps) that I have seen there have been sex scenes, violence and nudity. These are definitely not my idea of entertainment at all. We see enough of that in the news and other programs without having it shown on tv too.
