I donate $35/month direct debit out of my account, it is a good feeling to know that you are helping children in need. There is also ways to become more involved in the foundation, as in the newsletters about what the money has been going to that you have been donating.

What percentage of donated funds go to flying personel around the world to talkfests?
Care Australia is a 'charity' that is utilised by the governments to conduct covert operations in areas when so desired.
No charity is worth supporting unless the funds donated are all used to assist those in need and no 'charity' meets that standard.

WE have been donating regularly to more than half a dozen Charities. We then were asked by one Charity to please try to give some to a another part of their charity. They became quite cold when we said we could not give any more. My husband became very cross we are well into our seventies and are very well spread out now.
Th e other part of Charities that concern us, I have quite a number of illnesses which cost us a great deal of money. If I happen to need an appointment to see a Specialist at the hospital I immediately find I am on another list,
The basic amount they suggest is not $20 any more they seem to start at $50. I now and do appreciate there are many that need help but the way the Charities are asking now is upsetting. If I don't give it makes me feel sad and guilty

I donate mainly when I can to WSPA and RSPCA - they are two great animal organisations and they contribute so much to helping animals in need. There are also other animal organisations that are fantastic but unfortunately I don't have the funds to donate to all that I want to

I donate both time and money to the RSPCA as this is my favourite charirty...I also donate to help the children & homeless of Australia as I believe 'charity' begins at home.

we also support a child in Bangladesh, at $40 a month. Used to have 2 but since husband retired had to reduce to one. Have had a sponsor child for many many years, seem to get a new one every 4 or 5 years as they get too old for the program. Its good to know a child and his whole family, even his village, benefit from our little gifts.
