First of all this so called leader of the peolpe is not. Initally this lady was given the leadership by her own party and in my eyes she does not belong.
Any Polictical leader that bans the press has something to hide.

Folks, relax, if you do not like Julia Gillard or her 'antics' you are free to vote for Tony Abbott.
Then you may REALLY have something to complain about !
In the meantime go out and smell the roses.

Just in addition, and since the focus is mainly negative on the Australian PM, I voice my democratic opinion:
In general, I am not particularely impressed by any politician.
However, I am even less impressed by a politician, like Tony Abbott, who is constantly obstructive, negative and has nothing whatsoever constructive to say or do - to improve anything.
It seerms to me that T.Abbott's mindset is logged in the 1950s with his set views on women and certain religious ideas and that his main 'game' is to tear down the Gillard government with any means necessary.
Besides all that, politics is about politics, which means constant
changes in personal relationships, tactics, compromises and, no doubt, lies.
It is not a ShandgriLa 'holier than thou' excercise in being 'nice to each other'. So if anyone wants to single out any specific politician, don't.
Rather complain about the faults and the lack of morals and ethics
in our political system; which of course is a reflection of parts of our less positive human nature!

Oh dear,
but that's what democracy is all about - each to his / her own.

Bring on an early election and lets get a real government - Tony Abbott for PM!

I`ve been reading about alan jones and his comments about juliar, our proxy pm.
I thought ,if my daughter lied and behaved like her,as so called leader of the govt.of the country i am so proud of,I would become deeply depressed and ashamed of her.
This time i will side for jonesy

I agree ozziedigger if she wanted to make her family proud of the fact that she is the PM of this wonderful country why does she behvae like she does? She is so politically focussed that she and her government have actually done very little to improve life for workers, families and least of all for the needy and pensioners. I think her family (particularly her father - a tough nut Welsh miner) would be very disappointed in her. Her nasty mouth whilst in the protection of Parliment House really shows what kind of person she is. The entire Labor front bench never admit to their mistakes and only throw insults and blame toward Tony Abbott. I am certainly ashamed of Julia as PM and feel she has let the entire country down.

Like it or not Ms Gillard is our Prime Minister and you should respect her and her position as leader of this nation. Show some respect and refer to her as Madam Prime Minister. It is totally offensive not to do otherwise.
