Cabinet shuffle!

Government & Politics

Do you think Julia shuffling her cabinet about is going to improve the way this government performs?? Her choice of ministers and portfolios the first time around wasn't much chop and I don't think changing the team is going to improve anything. It will still be one disaster after another and yet more and more money wasted.

CAT17, I'm with you on this for sure. All she did was shore up her tenuous position so that it is harder for her to be challenged as leader. Going by private polling (non party political) her sucking up episode with Obama made a very negative impression with those polled. And the latest published poll confirms her lack of appeal to the Australian public. By the way check out my post on Technology.

I'm glad it is Christmas and I can concentrate on my family and joy of little grandsons, politics is getting me down. I will check out Technology and then will put all this aside until the new year. Best wishes to you for the Season. Catch you in 2012!

Thanks for your reply paradox. Julia really is just about Julia. She became PM by wheeling and dealing and here she is at it again. Mind you the appointments she has just made would be pay back...

Hi again Cat, I do not think that Tony is going to save us. I am not sure who in the coalition can take up the Saviour mantle. It will need to be someone that is very strong willed, compassionate, a brilliant speaker off the cuff and able to achieve a majority for the Coalition in their own right at the next election. It will require people like us to push the coalition barrel in a way that the CWA did to elect and reelect the Menzie Government. I am stirring the pot on afew other blogs and hope to get a groundswell going. It is simple really, tell ten of your friends to tell ten of theirs how hard you have to keep your head above the water and its all the redheads fault. Have a look at this sketch it might brighten your day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0ja7Vv_4Vc&feature=channel

Thanks for your reply paradox. Julia really is just about Julia. She became PM by wheeling and dealing and here she is at it again. Mind you the appointments she has just made would be pay back to those who got her into the Lodge. I think it is Shorten who she needs to keep her eye on - he is a slippery little character. Keven would be fuming - he will have to travel even more next year to keep away from her. The rest of us will have to suffer her and her bad policies and this lot a bit longer yet unfortunately unless some how they are thrown out. Come on Tony save us!
