We live rural and unfortunately that means no mobile phone reception, it bugs me that most offers are redemable via sms or reply text message where you have to answer with a code sms immediately. I myself have missed out on many opportunities because of this! anyone find the same? anyone have any other ways they redeem points etc?? cause i would like to know how if possible. Thanks.

I have to say, being able to do that, is not as great as it sounds, I went from a $29 plan to a $179 mobile bill trying to answer with a code sms. Have to be really careful. So annoying.

Ya really can't miss something not known. We can't miss 'streaming video' cause our ISPs fail to deliver enough speed! Rural Australia is like not even being alive! Our place is for sale & if we ever find a buyer, we are so gone back to the northern hemisphere!

Yes, we get the wrong end of the stick here. No cable, and if we want high speed, or decent phone service they charge through the nose. Most service providers cover 98% of Aus. But when you ring them, we are always in that rotten 3% that they can't provide the service to. Or, it cost twice as much "cos we are stuck in the country.( The never-nevers, I call it)
