Is the world telling us to get off?

hi Petrolhead, i hope we will be able to fix all the excellerting rate of global warning ,whether we will win is yet to be seen. going by what certain eminent physicists think ,i'm very interested in the possible escape-route to the Goldielocks Plannets ....Kepler 22b or maybe Gleise 581g ? look good as i see it , these scientists know more than the average man in the street, and they are deadly serious about the need to look for an alternate world to live on. we must cover all eventualities and think of the world in say the year 2050. by then at present rate world population will be 9 billion. i think the question of what caused global warming millions of years ago is one still being debated by people like michio kaku and stephen hawkins. personally i'd guess it may have something to do with movement within the earths magnetic field. especially the magma under the earths crust and the rotating metalic core, causing the earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. cheers, Simla
