Where is a good place to travel with a one year old daughter? We are thinking of one of the islands like Fiji, or Samoa but need it to be reasonably child friendly and also not too expensive.
Best time of the year to travel there..?

We took our 1 year old to Fiji in March and it was fantastic. Look for a package deal at a resort and you can usually get a good price. The Fijians love children and our son had a great time in the pool and the gardens. He was too young for kids club but we followed the kids to fish feeding etc which was fun. Riding in open aired buses was a novelty. The babysitting was cheap and excellent so we had a couple of nights out which was a treat. There are usually lots of other families so lots of friends to be made. You will probably find you have more access to luxury than you are used to which is a novelty for the adults.
