Do you read books by Nora Roberts? What is your opinion of them and her characters?

My mum reads Nora Roberts for the romance and historical romance fiction. I think she reads her under JD Robb (?) for the mystery style stuff.

Not sure if it's a generational thing, or just a literary taste thing, but I'm not drawn to romance novels.
