My wife recently took me out for my birthday at a 5 star hotel in the city. The buffet was excellent, but the experience was somewhat soured when we were charged $10.00 for a glass of watermelon juice & $6.50 for a cup of coffee. How can this be justified?

I can understand why these 5 star hotel cost your drink a fortune especially when it's buffet, the trick is really on the drinks, you can eat as much as you can but you can't drink as much as you can. But there are some good buffet restaurants in the city where you can drink as much softdrinks ,coffee or tea but not juice. It's just simple, if you want to eat in a fancy restaurant then you must be prepared to pay more than usual. It's not actually ripping you off,it's plain business.
