My wife recently took me out for my birthday at a 5 star hotel in the city. The buffet was excellent, but the experience was somewhat soured when we were charged $10.00 for a glass of watermelon juice & $6.50 for a cup of coffee. How can this be justified?

There is a restuarunt here in Perth that is going against this trend. They have capped their prices at $40. There is business is booming and it is top quality products from the south west WA . He has proved that you dont have to charge an arm and a leg for great meals and service. the upside being his place is busy and tables filled while others may be struggling.
You dont mind paying for great food if the price is reasonable and they should realise that a lot of their customers are via word of mouth...
