My wife recently took me out for my birthday at a 5 star hotel in the city. The buffet was excellent, but the experience was somewhat soured when we were charged $10.00 for a glass of watermelon juice & $6.50 for a cup of coffee. How can this be justified?

It seems the more well known a restaurant gets the more they can charge. I love how at a restaurant they ask you if you want water - they don't often give you a choice. I say - yes tap water thanks. I refuse to pay for water - especially when you are paying a great deal to go to the restaurant in the first place!
